Riverdale Paediatric Centre is part of Riverdale Medical Centre - Lavington and provides access to Kenya’s leading paediatric specialists. Our resident consultant paediatrician is Dr. Polly Okello. He graduated with a Masters degree in Paediatrics (UoN) and is a fellow of the International Paediatric Nephrology Association (IPNA), having trained in Paediactric Nephrology at University of Cape Town. Currently, he is in charge of the Paediatric Renal Services at Kenyatta National Hospital. Dr. Polly has vast experience managing general paediatric conditions and is willing to partner with you as you raise healthy and well-balanced children. He also has admission privileges at Kenya’s top hospitals.

Well baby clinic

Our Well Baby Clinic is run by a team of dedicated and gentle nurses with experience in child-care. For your Well Baby Visits, you may choose to see our resident paediatrician to foster continuity of care and build a close relationship with your child’s doctor. At your 6month visit, our resident nutritionist will guide you through a structured weaning schedule that provides a balanced diet for your child.

Outpatient

At Riverdale, your primary care team comprises of experienced general physicians, skilled nurse practitioners, registered nutritionists, and healthcare technicians. If specialized care is required or requested, we have a network of specialists available at the hospital on appointment.

Our goal is to provide each patient with a meaningful and connected experience. We bring the same caring approach to the child healthcare services we provide. Physiotherapy

Our outpatient physiotherapy clinic provides comprehensive individualized evaluation and management of individuals with Orthopaedic, neurological or cognitive limitation. The treatment plan is developed in conjunction with the physician and licensed physiotherapist and / or occupational therapist.

Our skilled physiotherapists also develop therapeutic plans to rehabilitate those with sports injuries, to improve overall performance as well as help decrease incidences of injuries associated with sports and exercise. A written doctor’s prescription or referral note is necessary for all new patients.
